And I found I couldn’t stand the company of people with whom I used to have fun. They were young, brave, uncaring, light and wild with all the cruelty of youth. Watching them used to amuse me. Then I changed and it began to hurt, all those shallow emotions and superficial ties that are forgotten even before they’re cut. I couldn’t be with them anymore because I saw too much, and it was petty and mean and like acid against my soul.
I don’t know if it was the same thing I’m thinking of, considering we’ve spent much of our childhood together, in the same neighborhood.
This is Asterisk, a test blog for WordPress themes (and plugins I find useful). I made this to test my very first WP setup for Stellify and kept this subdomain hush-hush because there’s no reason anybody else should be seeing what other things I cook up here—it’s not very exciting anyway—but I realized this could be a good place to dump all the memes I try out from time to time yet refuse to blog about.
Current version is WordPress 2.1—the most advanced version of all my WP installations on Stellify so far. Current theme is a Sandbox skin called Tiffany Blue—not yet released, not yet finished. I’ve been dying to make a full-blown WordPress theme but I keep on shuddering at the thought of what I did to get Stellify up and running. A Sandbox skin will do for now.
